DNS Proxywall pairs a Windows DNS firewall with built-in DNS monitoring: a live, filterable activity log of every query and response, persistent logs on disk, round-trip timing and country flags — and, on wired networks, visibility into what neighboring computers are resolving.
Windows resolves thousands of names a day and tells you almost nothing about it. DNS Proxywall turns that invisible traffic into a readable log: what was asked for, what answered, how long it took, which country it points to, and whether the DNS firewall let it through or blocked it.
The log is produced by the service component, so monitoring continues whether or not the management window is open, and it can be persisted to disk and rotated daily for later review.
And unlike an online DNS filtering service — which can only show you this history because it routed every query through its own servers first — DNS Proxywall keeps the record private. The activity log lives on your machine, not in a vendor’s cloud dashboard, so you get the visibility without handing your DNS traffic to a third party.
